Belagro 2023 expo kicks off in Great Stone Industrial Park

The international exhibition Belagro 2023 has opened in the China-Belarus Industrial Park Great Stone, BelTA has learned.
The exhibition features the advanced trends in the development of crop production, animal husbandry and poultry farming, modern technologies for processing, packaging and storage of products and a variety of agricultural machinery.
The agricultural forum traditionally brings together not only Belarusian farmers and workers of the food and processing industry but also their foreign counterparts and partners. This year, the event features 450 companies from Belarus, Russia, China, Pakistan, Turkey, Vietnam, Germany, Italy, India, and Palestine. The exhibition will also host delegations from Zimbabwe, Egypt, Iran, Kenya, Cuba, Mongolia, Syria, Uganda, and South Africa.
Collective expositions have been put together by the Agriculture and Food Ministry of Belarus, the Industry Ministry, the National Academy of Sciences, the Belgospishcheprom food industry concern, Belkoopsoyuz and all regions of Belarus.
Every year, Belagro becomes one of the main platforms for business negotiations. This year, Belagro will host about 20 thematic conferences and seminars to consider the whole range of issues of the agricultural industry. Emphasis will be placed on competitiveness of agricultural products, breeding sector, crop production, seed production, agricultural engineering, agricultural education and science, and cooperation with foreign countries.
The international exhibition Belagro 2023 will be running from 6 to 11 June. The opening hours are 10.00 to 18.00. A shuttle service will be offered during the exhibition days from the Mogilevskaya metro station and back.
