He took part in a ceremony to unveil the first border marker on Belarus-Ukraine border in Dobrush District, Gomel Oblast, BelTA has learnt. According to the Belarusian Foreign Minister, a lot of work will have to done to mark the border.
| 30.10.2013GOMEL, 29 October (BelTA) - The interregional Friendship without Borders forum has kicked off in Gomel Oblast, BelTA learnt from the education department of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee. The forum will last till 31 October. Attending the event will be teachers and pupils of the Belarusian-language school in Riga and representatives of Gomel oblast educational institutions. The program of the forum includes visits to educational and cultural institutions of Gomel Oblast, tours around Gomel, and excursions to Mozyr, Rechitsa, and Zhlobin.

The celebration of the fact took place on 15 October. Taking part in the event were representatives of the State Customs Committee of Belarus, the State Border Committee of Belarus, municipal authorities, construction companies, representatives of the Customs Department of the Lithuanian Finance Ministry.

In her words, seven news agencies, including BelTA, Associated Press, and Telegraph, will feed up-to-date news from Zhlobin.

Prospects and Directions for Development, will take place in Gomel on 20 September, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee. The conference is organized by Gomel Sci-Tech Park in association with the Gomel Oblast Executive Committee. Under the government's program on the construction of energy resources running on biogas in the country in 2011-215, a total of 38 biogas units with the total electric capacity of 37.
