International gas, oil conference in Belarusian Rechitsa to welcome over 80 delegations

GOMEL, 22 May (BelTA) – An international science and practice conference dedicated to ways to increase the extraction of oil and gas deposits will take place in the Belarusian town of Rechitsa on 24-25 May. Over 80 delegations have confirmed their participation in the event, BelTA learned from the press service of the company Belorusneft, the organizer of the conference.
Top researchers and manufacturing specialists from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Italy, Poland, Hungary and Norway are expected to take part in discussions during the event. Participating in the conference will be representatives of LUKOIL, Rosneft, Zarubezhneft, RussNeft, KazMunaiGaz, Neftegaz of Ukraine, Ukrneft, Drillmech, MOL, the Oil and Gas Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and the Polish Oil Institute.
The conference is expected to analyze and generalize information about modern technologies that allow raising the share of recoverable oil from different-type deposits of hydrocarbon resources. Researchers and practitioners will discuss ways to intensify oil extraction ranging from popular ones to those, Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Poland and Belarus are just designing.
Participants at the forum will discuss the advisability of stepping up efforts to raise recoverable oil extraction in the Single Economic Space. The schedule also includes business meetings of representatives of all the participating companies for the sake of discussing mutually beneficial cooperation, including cooperation with Belarusian manufacturers of oil equipment.
At the conference over 40 reports will be delivered, with nearly 70 testbed projects to be examined. The most rational ways to maximize oil extraction will be outlined.
